If you live outside of Bristol you can send us your drives, however it is very important to package them properly to prevent further damage being done.

Ideally they need to be packed in specially designed boxes like this one, with any bare drives preferably in antistatic bags. (if it’s in a USB drive enclosure that’s fine)

 

Packaging a Hard Drive For Data Recovery

 

If you can’t get hold of one of these, use plenty of foam and bubble wrap to completely surround and cushion the drive in the box you use.

It’s best to imagine you’re packaging some china ornament, the more protection the better.

If you wish to pay the diagnostic fee in advance (£42 incl VAT) we will send you one of the hard drive packaging boxes as seen above, just call 0117 953 7779 between 9am-5pm weekdays.

If your sending in a drive we’ve found Royal Mail Special delivery before 1pm next day* the best to use, or with larger Parcels such as NAS drives a reliable courier would be cheaper, TNT or similar.
